The U.S. Census Bureau has hundreds of openings in the Cleveland area and will begin
operations for conducting the 2010 Census. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance
your job skills, further your career and improve your community!

You may qualify to be a Census Taker if you are at least 18 years of age, and able to
read, write and speak English. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legally able to work in
the U.S. You must pass a written test of basic skills and have a valid driver’s license. A
male applicant born after 12/31/59, must confirm that he registered with the Selective
Services System.

Available Positions

Enumerator
($10.75-$16.50 per hr): Verifies addresses, canvassing, & interviewing


Crew Leader
($12.25-$18.00 per hr): Appoints, trains and supervises Enumerators


Crew Leader Assistant
($10.75-$16.50 per hr): Aids the Crew Leader in guiding & directing Enumerators
